AN asylum seeker who dreams of swimming for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games faces deportation after his family lost a five-year fight to stay in the UK.
Palestinian Aatif Alhiatly, 16, is part of the City of Glasgow Swim Team and has been tipped as a future medallist.
His parents Ayad, 45, and Lemees, 41, fled Syria and arrived in the UK to claim asylum in 2000.
