THE policeman allegedly assaulted by Scott Harrison is to sue the boxer.
He wants damages for a serious eye injury he claims was caused by Harrison, 29.
The officer alleges the Scots fighter – who is to be stripped of his world featherweight title – punched him after his arrest in Spain’s Costa del Sol.
The unnamed civil guard suffered a damaged retina and feared losing his sight.
Doctors say he will make a full recovery after undergoing laser surgery.
But the cop, who has been off work for almost five weeks, is going to the courts for compensation.
