An African footballer has gone on the run after his team visited Aberdeen for the city’s International Football Festival.
Ghanaian Emanuel Anarfi disappeared while his team attended the city’s annual sports event.
He was believed to have left his African team-mates in the hope of starting a new life in London.
Last year the Evening Express told how an African football team had to pull out of the AIFF tournament because they were refused entry to the UK.
The Foreign Office denied visas to the team of under 14s from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe as they were worried they would go on the run once in Scotland.
