PROTESTERS say they prevented another dawn raid from going ahead in Glasgow yesterday by demonstrating outside an immigration centre in the city.
During the six-hour protest, one man sat atop a 12ft wooden tripod outside the entrance to the Home Office’s national asylum support service offices in Cessnock. A banner strung between the tripod and a lamppost read: “Stop detaining children, stop dawn raids!”
