A GLASGOW-based family of asylum seekers has been detained by immigration officials.

Home Office officials moved the Shvetsov family on Saturday during a dawn raid and they were detained at Dungavel, in Lanarkshire.

Genady, Olga and their son Yevgeny, 14, originally from the Ukraine, were then transferred to Yarl’s Wood detention centre, Bedford, on Monday.
