A marine killed in a suicide bombing while serving in Afghanistan has been named by the Ministry of Defence.
Gary Wright, 22, from Blanefield in Stirlingshire, died following the attack on a military convoy in Lashkar Gah, in Helmand Province.
Marine Wright, who served with Arbroath-based 45 Commando, was airlifted to hospital but later died from his injuries.

The attack happened as the convoy left the Afghan National Police Station.
One other Royal Marine was seriously injured and two children were killed in the incident, on Thursday.
