This week the Muslim Council of Scotland (MCS) was formed as an umbrella group to represent Muslim interests in Scotland.

The group claims to have brought together and unprecedented number of Scotland’s mosques and Muslim organisations into one united bloc.

The first convener of the MCS is none other than Bashir Mann, the former Glasgow Labour Councillor who was forced to resign from the Labour Party after making ‘homophobic’ comments.

He is the same Pakistani born Bashir Mann who falsely accused Carmunnock residents of being racist because they oppose his plan to build a Muslim cemetery in their conservation village and exposed his lie about never being offered an alternative site. See report here.

The Associated Press of Pakistani new agency broke the story falsely claiming Mr Mann was now an MSP and quoted him as saying “many is the time when Scottish institutions have wondered who to deal with in the Muslim community and at last there is an answer. We look forward to engaging with all sectors of Scottish society – government, media, civic organisations, the police, other faith groups – in the very near future.”

The Scottish public can now expect increased pressure from the MCS to submit and conform to Muslim demands on everything aspect of Scottish life. The MCS exists to hasten the Islamification of our once Christian nation and Bashir Mann has set no limits, in fact, he openly says he will engage “all sectors of Scottish society.”
