Islam is the only religion on the face of this earth which is mis-presented, Why? because our holy book (Koran) is send down for the whole of mankind and it’s texture is still in original text as it was reaveled 14000 years ago to final prophet Muhammad who was illeturate. Koran is the living evidence, if one studies it will find there are no contradictions unlike bible etc.. It has the solution for humanity. My advice to people is not to judge islam by it’s followers but study the koran and the life and teaching of prophet muhammad

Our error has been to relinquish the intellectual rigour of the Enlightenment, of which we are heirs and beneficiaries. We have forgotten the lessons of Hume, Kant , Schopenhauer and their descendants through to Tawney, Webb, Popper and Russell.

The Western world now seems to have fallen into the hands of intellectual mediocrities, charlatans and fools.

Regrettably their is nothing in our current approach to what is rather laughably called ‘education’ which even begins to address the issue.

And likewise in the east. A lot of young peolple are starting to question islam as to some it appears only to lead to war and hunger. In what ever age you find yourself living you will always find doom and gloom, catastrophe and chaos awaiting at every corner. Islam cannot deal with those who question as we in the west do. People want answers to the big questions, christianity has not given us these, although I suspect they are hiding deep between the lines of the bible, and I do not see islam coming up with them either. Obviously if a people are absolutely broken they probably will take up either of these religions eagerly.

If we don’t look after our Christian heritage and traditions on which the history and laws of this country are founded, then somebody else will move in to fill the gap. I believe Peter Hitchens has already mentioned this. I think he is entirely correct. You cannot have a secular society because there are forces in the world which appear to be, at least for the present, just as powerful, if not more so, than secularism itself. I mean religious belief systems particularly.
We might need to look to America to help us through this difficult period. I only hope we can harness the forces necessary for the battle ahead.

i’m extremely worried regarding islam,we appear to be handing over our country to this ideology,
the recent assembly of 20.000 muslims in london, organised by our own police attended by celebs, appears to have been, a rant against the west, we encourage this at our peril,
i just thank god at last the pentogon in u.s.a.
seem to be waking up, lets hope we are in time,
appeasment in britain, isnt the way to go,

I’m a white girl who is in the prossess of converting to Islam it has athe respect that christianity is losing. It’s standards have never changed throughout time nor has the koran!
