[How much in expences are these people claiming-ed]
MORE staff have been recruited by Holyrood to handle the soaring number of expense claims by MSPs.
Two more administrators are needed to deal with a £1.9million rise in allowances in the last three years – an average increase of £15,000 per member.
It brings the department staffing level to 11 with an annual wage bill of more than £250,000.
The workers will also administer travel and expenses claims for all parliamentary staff, MSPs and their families.
On Friday it was revealed former Tory MSP Brian Monteith has repaid the Parliament £250 of wrongly-claimed taxi expenses.
The allowance administrator officers will enjoy annual salaries of up to £20,000 and a final salary pension scheme with index-linked benefits.
