SNP leader Alex Salmond has given his backing for a new group catering for young Asians at the party’s annual conference.
Mr Salmond, Depute Leader Nicola Sturgeon and SNP Parliamentary Candidate Bashir Ahmad were all present at the launch of the Young Asian Scots for Independence (YASI). Mr Ahmad is set to become the Scottish Parliament’s first Asian MSP.
