[Will we see a rise in the quality of services that the people in Stirling receive?-ed]
Stirling Council has announced a 4.5% increase in council tax rates for the coming year.
The increase, effective from 1 April, comes after previous talks stalled when Labour and Conservative councillors failed to reach agreement.
The rise means the average Band D council tax will rise from £1,149 a year to £1,201 – an increase of £52.
